This is my logo design titled Mordecai. Now, this isn’t some random logo that I came up with on the spot, i’ve been drawing this logo for about 2 years now and it’s probably one of my favorite things to draw. I’ve created many versions of this logo and this one is definitely one of my favorites and I didn’t even mean to make it this way. The reason I made this on accident is when I was scanning my actual sketch, the printer couldn't pick up the lines as well and created these very cracked lines. I feel as if the backstory behind the lines can show that not everything is always human error, although we do make mistakes, not everything is our fault. The main tool that I used for this was the printer scanning. The scanning part made this process much easier than having to recreate it in illustrator with the pen or paint brush tool. I believe that this piece was very successful considering the error from the printer adding a very weird but artistic effect to the drawing draws more attention to it.
