This is my house piece titled 1740. This piece has a very special place in my heart and means the most to me. The house in this piece was the house that I grew up in and spent 17 years of my life in. Some complications have occured in my life resulting in the end of that house and me having to move. There are so many memories that go along with that house that I will never forget. Most people look at this piece and think, “Oh, it’s just another house” , but to me it is much more than that. I also plan on using parts of this piece as inspiration for my upcoming tattoo. For this piece of art I mainly used the pen tool and paint bucket. I also added a little spice to the piece by adding a flare on the side of the drawing to give it a sense of realism while keeping the sketch feeling alive. I believe that this piece is very successful considering the very personal meaning and value behind it.
