I believe the top two reasons my photography is successful are that each photo tells a different story and the fact that I make sure to bring the viewers focus to the object. I like to create a story for each of my albums in order to help the viewer feel more connected personally to the image. I also like to use very dull backgrounds in order to bring out the details in the object and allow the viewer to see every imperfection in the object.

Repetition is a beautiful thing when it comes to the art of photography. I believe the main reasons that these shoe repetition photos are so successful is because the black and white color of the shoe brings more attention to the main focus of the photo. Being able to direct the viewers attention to the main focus of the photo is a huge thing, and I think I made this possible by using a dull colored shoe as the background.

This photo was actually not a real assignment. Earlier in the day I read an article about men embracing their feminine side, and I thought who would be a better person to show their feminine side than Mike Tyson. This photo is trying to speak to the viewer and tell them to not be embarrassed by what others think, to truly embrace who you are as a person and not hiding behind some masculine character. All guys have soft sides and they should embrace that rather than trying to make people think that they are only a tough, manly guy.
